The man is standing on the shoulders of so many other people, it simply boggles my mind how amazing all these discovers are and how the progress has been over the years.

And I don’t just mean from the global warming emissions. Car crashes account for millions of people killed and injured every year. More than most wars, more than terrorist attacks, more than many well known medical illnesses, so why don’t we have a war on cars?

Life reaches out and traps energy, which in turn is used by more life, biodiversity is beautiful, amazing, sometimes harsh, but always fascinating. I am awed by the wonder of nature and how life seems to build little spaces for more life to get in there and go nuts.
